Nature buffs won’t want to miss the breathtaking Gorges du Fier, a river gorge. A gangway guides you through a water-cut narrow gully that opens into an expanse of boulders. The gorge can be reached by train or bus from Annecy and is just a few kilometres away. The site is open to the public from mid-June to mid-September, from 09:00 to 19:00; and from mid-March to mid-June and mid-September to mid-October from 09:00 to noon and 14:00 to 18:00.
