Images of Le Palais de I’lle have become the symbol of Annecy. This dank prison resembles a small chateau. It was constructed in the 17th century and is connected to Annecy by a bridge. From June to September, hours are 10:00 to 18:00; while from October to May, hours are from 10:00 to noon and 14:00 to 18:00.
