For adventure in the skies there are numerous jump off spots around the Alps and naturally Lake Annecy for paragliding. In fact from Hotel Chappet and Chappet House from our waterfront terrace you can watch paragliding and hangliding take offs from Col de la Forclaz, one of the most popular paragliding and hangliding areas in the world. The best seat in the house! A spectacular site is watching the dozens of paragliders that drift over the lake towards the landing sites nearby, and practice their SIVs right in front of Hotel Chappet and Chappet self catering house. It is something you will never forget! Close to Chappet House, there are 2 landing spots that end a flight from one of the spectacular mountains surrounding us. We can arrange packages for you from beginners through to advanced flyers. 

For paragliding groups make sure you take advantage of our lovely self catering house with 9 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms, private waterfront garden with BBQ, living room with English television and DVD library, large eat in country kitchen and laundry facilities. 

Our waterfront hotel offers rooms from 60 € per night/double room including breakfast to 110 € per night/double room including breakfast. 

We are 2 minutes away from the charming village of Doussard, a central paragliding village and 6 kms away from the famous and beautiful village of Talloires, another great paragliding centre. Buses run right past our door and the ferry runs from nearby the hotel and house from April - September.
